The time is finally here – COP26 is upon us and the hopes of the world now hinge on the outcomes of the most important UN summit in history.
The Solivus team is proud to be at COP26 promoting the benefits of solar energy. In particular, our founder, Jo Parker-Swift, will be speaking on Thursday 4th at Net Zero Now to discuss the role solar technology can play in enabling Net Zero across the UK, and beyond.
Jo will be speaking from 4:20 until 5pm as part of the Tech Nation panel on ‘The Future for Climate Tech’ – full details on the event here: https://www.netzeronow.org/post/cop26-event

We will also be at Lighting up COP26, hosted by Solar Energy UK. Our very own Matt Black will be chairing a discussion on the opportunities for rooftop solar in commercial, public and residential sectors; discussing the industry's most pressing issues, innovations and next steps to deliver solar's contribution to the UK government target of a zero-carbon electricity system by 2035.

Of course, these won’t be the only events we’ll be attending, the Solivus team will be roaming all over Glasgow spreading the solar energy message far and wide. Our ultimate mission is to enable mega-buildings, homes and communities to lower their carbon footprint and generate their own local solar energy through our state-of-the-art range of solar solutions. Using new thin-film solar technology to design truly innovative products, Solivus is opening up vast new markets previously unavailable to traditional solar - both in the UK and across the world.
